Why we built LaneDeck
June 2026 · The LaneDeck team
Talk to almost any growing carrier and the story is the same. Compliance lives in a TMS. Driver pay lives in a spreadsheet. Dispatch happens over a group text. And the paperwork — rate confirmations, BOLs, settlements — lives in email threads and a shared drive nobody trusts.
It works until it doesn't. Usually that's around the third or fourth driver, when the person holding it all together can no longer keep the whole operation in their head.
LaneDeck is the operational layer that ties those pieces together: who's driving what, what they're getting paid, where the truck is, and where the paperwork lives — without copy-pasting between five tools.
We build for the people who actually run the lane, not just the back office. That means software that's fast, honest about what it does, and designed to get out of the way of the work.
